All About Your Best Smile

Thinking about jazzing up your smile? Composite resin veneers and bonding might just be what you need! They’re popular cosmetic options that can transform your teeth without breaking the bank. Let’s dive into what they are, when to consider them, and the good and bad stuff about the procedures.

What Are Composite Resin Veneers and Bonding?

Composite Resin Veneers: Thin shells made of durable composite material that cover the front of your teeth to improve their appearance. They’re custom-shaped and bonded directly onto your teeth.

Bonding: The composite resin is bonded directly onto a tooth and meticulously shaped to repair the edges of teeth that are worn or chipped. It’s like a dental filling but instead of filling a hole, we add resin to the surface to build up the missing areas.

When are they recommended?

Changing the colour of teeth: A lighter coloured resin can be used to change the colour of teeth and mask any stains and imperfections.

Making teeth longer or bigger: Sometimes natural teeth are formed smaller than proportionally ideal, breaking up an otherwise harmonious smile. Other times, the years of teeth grinding have worn the enamel and made the teeth appear shorter and wider. Composite resin bonding is a great way to restore the enamel and make the teeth look symmetrical and proportional.

Reshaping teeth: Don’t like how pointy some teeth look? Or is one tooth sitting behind another? Composite resin can be shaped and sculpted to mimic the surrounding teeth to create a balanced smile.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I took my daughter to Dr Evelyn at Chomp Dental for a second opinion after not having the best experience at an orthodontic practice I was referred to by my regular dentist.

From the moment we arrived, Dr Evelyn and the team were absolutely fantastic. They were so patient, kind and understanding of my daughter’s anxieties, taking the time to make her feel comfortable every step of the way. We never felt rushed, and everything was explained clearly and honestly.

We left feeling a lot more confident about a better path forward for my daughter’s orthodontic care and never felt like just another number or $. The care, compassion and professionalism were second to none. A 10/10 experience, we will definitely be back. Highly recommend Dr Evelyn and the entire team at Chomp Dental!

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Best dentist I’ve ever been to. First time that I felt zero pain during a regular clean, and Dr Manahil and the dental hygienist spent a good amount of time afterward helping me understand how to better maintain my oral health. I didn’t realise how many things I was doing wrong haha. Thank you everyone for a great experience and I’ll see you again soon:)
