Chomp Aligners are designed and 3D printed here at our Seven Hills practice, which is why they cost less than the brands you will have seen advertised. They start at $3,000 for single arch and $5,4oo for both, retainers included.
They suit mild to moderate crowding and spacing, which covers most people who want straighter teeth without a major bite correction. They are clear, removable, and worn around twenty two hours a day.
Printing them ourselves does two things beyond the price. It cuts out the plastic waste of traditional manufacturing, and it gives a more accurate fit, so the aligners move teeth with gentler force and better precision.
If your case needs more than they can do, we will say so at the consultation and talk you through Spark aligners or braces instead.
If Chomp Aligners are not right for your case
Chomp Aligners handle most cases, but not all of them. Where more movement is needed we offer two alternatives.
Spark aligners, from $4,000 for one arch or $6,500 for both. A premium clear aligner that manages more complex movement while still being nearly invisible. More on the benefits of Spark aligners.
Fixed braces, from $7,000, which remain the most predictable option for significant bite correction.
At the consultation we scan your teeth and tell you which of the three will get you the result. If Chomp Aligners will do the job, that is what we will recommend, because there is no reason for you to pay more than you need to.

Spark aligners start at $4,000 for one arch and $6,500 for both arches.
You get a written quote at the consultation showing the total, what your health fund is likely to contribute, and the monthly figure if you use a payment plan. No estimates over the phone and no figure that changes later.
Does your health fund cover clear aligners?
Most private health funds with orthodontic extras pay a portion of clear aligner treatment. The amount depends on your fund, your level of cover and how much of your limit you have used. As an example, we break down what AHM covers for clear aligners.
Bring your card to the consultation and we will check it with you and give you a written quote showing the gap. If you are with ahm, Bupa or Medibank we deal with those funds regularly and can tell you what to expect.
Payment plans are available on top of any rebate.

Both straighten teeth. The right one depends on the case and on you.
Clear aligners are nearly invisible, removable and mean no food restrictions, which suits adults and older teenagers who would rather not have visible braces. They rely on you wearing them around twenty two hours a day.
